I love the way this sketch turned out, with the exception of her face. She’s looking a bit prissy. Maybe this spoiled little school girl is a bit angry with Daddy seeing as how he wouldn’t let her take the Audi to school today, she had to drive the Hyundai.

I was commissioned to do an illustration for a design blog. The above painting was one of the rejected ideas, but I just loved the composition, so I finished it anyway. I also inserted a cute golden retriever who is being very good and staying off of the mid-century plaid chair. Hopefully I’ll be revealing the chosen illustration soon… stay tuned!
I just finished this drawing last night and this morning I awoke to snow. It is so beautiful outside. I see hot chocolate in my future.
Who knew painting chocolate chip cookies would be so difficult? Not me… This is my second attempt at painting these cookies. No, you will never see the first, it was an embarrassment! The above, though still not perfect do look a little appetizing. Giving me the rumblies.. that only cookies will satisfy!

Valentine’s Day is coming up, and that means chocolate! mmmm chocolate! Oh, how I wish… I wish… I wish… I could eat one of these for breakfast everyday. It would go so well with the imaginary Starbucks White Chocolate Mocca I picture in my mind while I’m sipping my blah grocery store pre-ground swill. mmmm that would be heaven.
