When I graduated from college my folks, like many others, bought me a suit so I could go out and get a job. It was pink! I wore that suit to many interviews, landed a few entry level jobs in the arts which helped expand my knowledge and my resume. About 5 years after I graduated I again wore that suit to an interview this time at a magazine. Not only did I get the job, I met my future husband that day. I don’t wear pink that much anymore, but I paint using that color a lot, because that suit and its color will always have a special place in my heart… Thanks Mom & Dad.
