I never had an imaginary friend when I was young… but I have them now.
Away
This is my daughter’s friend. She asked me a while back to do a drawing of her. Well, we always say… you can’t get without asking. This one’s for you Sydney. Hope you like it.
Ladies Who Lunch
What a pleasure to illustrate these lovely ladies. Ruth, on the right in red, hired me to surprise her friends with a lively illustration of them on their way to lunch. So much fun what a great bunch of gals! Next time I’m in Virginia, lunch is on me.
To all those who…
never gave me a chance, turned their noses up at me, broke my heart, think they are privileged, don’t understand me, are pretentious, took advantage of me, gave their unqualified niece the job, made me feel inadequate, don’t know how to use a turn signal, think their children are more talented than mine, overcharge because they can, think I’m gullible, are dirty old men, lie, steal, cheat and get away with it, judge me, are too good to stand in line, don’t say thank you, and basically just piss me off! #thisonesforyou
Girl’s Gotta Play
She Needed a Hero…
…so that is what she became.
Masks
The best of me was hiding.
How long is forever?
Sometimes… for just one second.
